Nestled in northern Wisconsin, Rose's Bay Resort and Campground is located on Potato Lake in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin. When the chance came along in August 2025 to run a true Northwoods resort, Chris and Bree Lien didn’t hesitate— they dove right in and are now the proud owners of Lien's Lakeside and Rose's Bay Resort.
We’re proud to carry on the tradition of good times, good people, and that laid-back, rustic lake life that makes this place special. Come as you are and enjoy the peace, the water, and the friendly welcome waiting here.
The lake is 540 acres located in Rusk County. It has a maximum depth of 40 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings, one public land or park within 1000 feet of the lake (Potato Creek Wildlife Area). Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake’s water clarity is low. Visitors have access to the lake from two public boat landings, one alongside the resort. There is 1,000 acres of public land within 1,000 feet of the Resort (Potato Creek Wildlife Area), that offers hiking, birdwatching, canoeing, and unlimited hunting opportunities.
If its fishing, biking or even geocaching plan your trip and unwind your mind in Rusk County.
